Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott in Box Elder, SD is seeking a General Maintenance professional to uphold the property's comfort and safety. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform repairs, and help maintain guest areas and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repair, painting and HVAC systems.
• Ability to select appropriate tools and follow safety procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all maintenance requests by guests, employees, and supervisors.
• Maintain, repair, and overhaul equipment and property; report problems to General Manager.
• Paint walls, ceilings, fixtures, building, and equipment to prevent corrosion.
• Hang wall fixtures, replace light bulbs and filters, and shampoo carpets.
• Make local deliveries and pick-ups as needed.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies and keep grounds areas clean.
