Job summary

Ascent Hospitality's The Chattanoogan Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Engineering Team. You will support the Chief Engineer, supervise the maintenance staff, and help ensure a safe, well‑functioning property that delivers outstanding guest experiences.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, along with preventive maintenance, scheduling, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance staff in a hotel or similar setting.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs in hotel properties.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Engineering Department under the Chief Engineer.
• Supervise maintenance staff with daily assignments and projects.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Assist with scheduling, work orders, inventory, and vendor coordination.
• Promote safety, accountability, and exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, brand requirements, and company policies.
