The Chattanoogan Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, part of Ascent Hospitality, seeks an experienced Assistant Chief Engineer to join our engineering team in Chattanooga, TN.

You will support daily operations, supervise maintenance staff, and ensure a safe, guest-focused environment. The role reports to the Chief Engineer and offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the daily operations of the Engineering Department.
• Lead and support maintenance team members while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and guest needs.
• Assist with scheduling, work orders, vendor coordination, and departmental projects.
• Help ensure compliance with safety standards, brand requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning property that exceeds guest expectations.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 annually (Compensation is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall background).
