Job summary

The Chattanoogan Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton in Chattanooga, TN, seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering Team. The role reports to the Chief Engineer and supports daily operations while maintaining a premier guest environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hotel facilities to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Assist in daily operations of the Engineering Department.
• Troubleshoot issues and mentor junior staff as needed.
• Prioritize maintenance requests and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Location: The Chattanoogan Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton | Chattanooga, TN

Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (Compensation is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall background).

The Chattanoogan Hotel, a Curio Collection by Hilton property and part of Ascent Hospitality, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering Team.

This position reports directly to the Chief Engineer and plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Engineering Department while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and exceptional guest environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in maintenance, hotel engineering, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team member.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
