Job summary

Wingate by Wyndham Jacksonville is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Manager to oversee the hotel's infrastructure, plan renovations, and lead maintenance staff. You will ensure safety and functionality for guests and employees by managing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

The role requires strong organization, compliance with health and safety standards, and excellent communication with staff, vendors, and management. Bachelor's or trade certificate preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or trade certificate preferred; commensurate education acceptable.
• Experience in supervisory maintenance or construction management preferred.
• Ability to diagnose root causes quickly and propose solutions.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect hotel regularly to ensure safety standards.
• Arrange routine maintenance in rooms and public areas.
• Undertake repairs and maintenance without disturbing guests.
• Supervise maintenance technicians.
• Update procedures and manuals as needed.
• Communicate issues and recommendations to management.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Maintain activity logs.
