Job summary

Baymont Inn & Suites is seeking a professional Hotel Maintenance to care for the hotel’s infrastructure and lead maintenance personnel. You will plan renovation and repair projects and ensure electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems are well maintained.

The ideal candidate is organized, adheres to health and safety standards, and can communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and residents. This role focuses on keeping the hotel safe, functional, and guest-ready.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent preferred; or commensurate education and experience.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Experience supervising maintenance or construction management is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose root causes and propose solutions.
• Proven written and verbal communication with staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Inspect hotel regularly to ensure safety standards.
• Arrange routine maintenance in rooms and public areas.
• Undertake repairs and maintenance without disturbing guests.
• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
• Update procedures and process manuals as needed.
• Communicate problems and recommend resolutions to management.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Maintain budgets, expenses and activity logs.
