Job summary

Aloft Delray Beach is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician to care for guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and staff. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with repairs across the property.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance in hotels, apartments, or commercial buildings preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic maintenance issues.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and departments.
• Complete repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, doors, locks, and other systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC systems and report issues.
