Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in building maintenance or engineering in hotel/resort environments.
• Knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and schematics; strong troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Install, replace and repair lighting, electrical wiring, and safety systems.
• Inspect machinery, diagnose issues by sound and observations, and prevent breakdowns.
• Repair defective parts and restore full functionality promptly.
• Assist in delivery/installation of equipment such as TVs, mattresses, and furniture.
• Maintain hotel structures: walls, floors, doors, and windows; ensure safety and quality.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment to support operations.
• Document maintenance activities accurately in logs; respond to requests and emergencies.
• Coordinate with supervisors and management on projects, repairs, and safety issues.
• Participate in safety trainings and adhere to PPE guidelines.
