Job summary

Kolter Hospitality in Delray Beach is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to deliver service excellence and ensure the smooth operation of the property's maintenance department. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and building systems, while maintaining accurate records and a clean work area.

Qualifications

Experience in mechanical, plumbing, carpentry or building maintenance preferred.
Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours.
Able to work weekends/holidays.
Strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain facility building and equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry and plumbing.
Respond to elevator breakdowns.
Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Respond to engineering service requests in courteous, efficient manner.
Maintain engineering work area in an orderly and clean fashion.
Assist in handling emergencies to protect guests and team members and the building.
Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room.
