Job summary

Raines Co. in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, back of house and front of house areas.

You will work with the Chief Engineer, perform life-safety inspections, and maintain equipment, supplies, and maintenance records. Prior hotel maintenance experience is preferred and a pre-employment background check is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressive experience in hotels or related maintenance fields.
• Experience with door lock systems and maintenance tools.
• Hotel equipment repair experience and related knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment in guest rooms, meeting spaces, back of house and front of house areas.
• Repair HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical fixtures to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain work areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer and vendors for repairs requiring professional expertise.
• Participate in life-safety inspections and follow preventative maintenance programs.
• Respond to guestroom maintenance requests promptly and document activities.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Two years of progressive experience in hotels or related maintenance fields

HVAC certification or equivalent
