Hyatt Place Anaheim is seeking an Engineer to join the Hotel Engineering team in Anaheim, CA. The role covers routine maintenance, responding to guest requests, and upholding safety and comfort standards across facilities.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the candidate will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing tasks, and work orders, ensuring operations run smoothly and guests have a superior stay. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of progressive maintenance/engineering experience in a hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and provide guest-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and guest room appliances.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and safe, following hygiene and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and maintenance issues with professional, courteous service.
• Accurately complete and manage work orders with proper documentation.
• Assist with inventory and restocking of maintenance supplies and tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Operate maintenance equipment safely and report repairs as needed.
