Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim North is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance to uphold quality and sustainability standards while delivering warm guest service.

The role involves room inspections, basic electrical/plumbing work, painting, furniture repair, and maintaining maintenance records. Some duties align with guest satisfaction goals, and overtime on holidays or peak periods may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and trade school coursework preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.
• Ability to follow safety regulations (MSDS/OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures.
• Repair furniture.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Trace and repair all types of water lines.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and Federal codes.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
