Fairfield Inn in Rancho Cordova, CA seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance Department, oversee staff and external contractors, and manage daily operations to ensure top hospitality standards. You will train, supervise, and motivate personnel while maintaining HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems in peak condition.

You will coordinate with other departments for guest requests, handle budgets and purchases, and uphold emergency procedures and key control protocols.

Formación

• Responsible for supervising the Maintenance Department operations, personnel, and outside maintenance contractors.
• Hire, train, counsel, and motivate department personnel.
• Inspect guest rooms after preventative maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Order supplies, process accounts payable, and monitor the department budget.
• Schedule personnel within budget guidelines to ensure adequate staffing.
• Maintain the hotel grounds and building exteriors on a daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.
• Develop and maintain maintenance department programs to meet Quality Assurance criteria.
• Ensure routine preventative maintenance on laundry equipment, HVAC, ice machines, and safety systems.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest special requests.
• Assist the General Manager in resolving guest complaints concerning the Maintenance department.
• Establish department communication through logs, meetings, and coaching.
• Maintain key control files and logs; administer keys securely.
• Follow all hotel safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
