Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova is seeking a Full-Time Hotel Engineer (Maintenance) to maintain and repair hotel systems, ensuring a safe, functional environment for guests and team members.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in large facilities, and proficiency with HVAC, BAS/CMMS, and life-safety equipment. Open availability for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and mechanical certifications or equivalent secondary education.
• 3-5+ years of maintenance experience in a large-scale, multi-unit facility (hotel, medical facility, etc).
• Advanced knowledge of commercial building systems and maintenance tools (HVAC, BAS/CMMS, life safety equipment).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all hotel building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and ensure equipment complies with safety standards.
• Respond quickly to guest service requests and facility issues.
• Support upkeep of kitchen and laundry equipment, life safety systems, and emergency power systems.
• Work a flexible schedule including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
