Loews Arlington Hotel seeks a dependable Maintenance Team Member to keep hotel facilities in top condition. You will perform repairs, respond to guest requests, and support preventive maintenance across guest rooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑house areas.

Qualifications

• Must have general maintenance knowledge and hands-on repair skills.
• Attendance at a minimum of 5 maintenance classes (e.g., HVAC, Electrical) is preferred.
• Must have English reading, writing and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance across the hotel to keep systems running efficiently.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests in guest rooms, meeting spaces, public areas, and back of house locations.
• Assist senior engineers with complex maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.
• Execute work orders using HotSOS or similar systems with timely completion.
• Replace light bulbs and maintain proper lighting throughout the property.
• Stock supplies and tools in storerooms and on floors to support daily operations.
• Communicate status updates on maintenance requests to supervisors.
• Monitor building systems for safe, economical operation.
• Assist guests with maintenance-related requests and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Support preventive maintenance and sustainability initiatives by monitoring energy use.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas and comply with safety regulations.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and attend mandatory trainings.
• May work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
