GF Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our Houston property. You will supervise the hotel's maintenance and routine processes to keep the facility safe, functional, and guest-ready, delivering consistent five-star service.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, can lift up to 50 lbs, and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. You will collaborate with other technicians and respond to maintenance needs promptly to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains carpets, upholstery, rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and waxes floors; vacuums and polishes surfaces.
• Dusts and polishes metalwork and maintains housekeeping carts.
• Transports clean linen and stocks linen closets on guest floors.
• Removes trash and keeps guest hallways clean and debris-free as needed.
• Walks assigned floors to collect trash and soiled linen daily.
• Maintains housekeeping carts and linen stocks; refills amenities.
• Creates communication channels with staff and managers; stays on call for emergencies.
• Completes work orders and collaborates with other technicians to handle maintenance tasks.
• Manages hotel machinery and preventive maintenance procedures.
