Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts, Brickell Arch, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Miami, seeks a skilled maintenance engineer to uphold building systems and guest safety. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and ensure compliance with SOPs and health codes.

Ideal candidates have trades training (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry), hotel experience preferred, and the ability to lift 25–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Trade skills in building related maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders to maintain hotel facilities.
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks (e.g., room care) and routine repairs.
• Inspect and service electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and building equipment; replace components as needed.
• Maintain pool and outdoor areas; support curb appeal and housekeeping upkeep.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests; ensure safety and quality standards.
