Job summary

First Hospitality seeks a Maintenance Engineer for a Green Bay, WI hotel. You will perform proactive upkeep of building systems and address issues affecting guests.

Tasks include routine maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, painting, carpentry, and other repairs, with a focus on safety and timely communication. Requirements: 2+ years in maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent; electrical/plumbing certifications are a plus; valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or similar facility.
• High School diploma or equivalence required.
• Electrical and/or plumbing certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain the physical building structure, systems, and equipment; perform preventative and routine maintenance.
• Complete grounds and custodial work as needed or assigned.
• Use tools and power equipment following safety guidelines to ensure safety of self and others.
• Complete building, equipment, or room repairs including plumbing, painting, carpentry, sheetrock, and electrical work.
• Prioritize repairs or maintenance that may inconvenience guests and communicate with hotel departments to ensure timely response.
