SpringHill Suites Jacksonville is seeking a part-time Hotel Maintenance Engineer to maintain guest rooms, public areas, and building systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to guest requests, and coordinate with the General Manager to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing tasks, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

• Ability to read and understand maintenance tasks and safety procedures.
• Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform repairs.
• Excellent communication with front desk and management.

Responsibilities

• Guest Room Maintenance: address requests, repair or replace fixtures, inspect HVAC in rooms.
• Preventative Maintenance: perform daily checks on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Public areas & Building Maintenance: maintain lobby, hallways, restrooms, and exterior areas.
• Equipment & Mechanical Systems: monitor HVAC, water heaters, pumps, and report major issues.
• Safety & Compliance: daily safety checks, ensure exits are clear, follow procedures.
• Daily Work Orders & Communication: prioritize requests, update management, document repairs.
