Qualifications

• Vocational schooling, military training, or certification in building trades.
• Experience in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry.
• Must be able to receive instructions and communicate progress of work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and report work orders to maintain the hotel and uphold quality standards.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on rooms and building systems (e.g., room care).
• Inspect electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, lighting, and perform minor repairs.
• Assist in repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment including boilers, pool equipment, HVAC, and plumbing fixtures.
• Service the hotel’s pool and maintain chemical levels and filters; complete maintenance logs.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal (snow removal, lawn care, painting).
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and move furniture as needed.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
