Shaner Hotels seeks a Maintenance Engineer for SpringHill Suites Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront. The role covers upkeep, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of ice machines, refrigeration and air handling units, plus other general maintenance to franchise standards.

The ideal candidate has strong guest-service orientation and a solid background in commercial refrigeration. Evening, weekend and holiday hours may be required; full-time with benefits, based in Jacksonville Beach, FL.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience preferably in a hotel; franchised hotel experience a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and comply with deadlines.
• Ability to interact positively with hotel personnel and provide prompt solutions to problems.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
