Job summary

Coastal Hospitality Associates is seeking a part-time Maintenance Engineer to maintain the Holiday Inn Express at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. You will perform repairs, general maintenance, and ensure property standards are met.

Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma, good knowledge of plumbing and electrical repairs, and display excellent customer service skills. The role offers a pay of $17.50/hr and various benefits.

Qualifications

• Stamina to stand and walk for a full shift, navigate stairs, bend, and stoop.
• Ability to push/pull up to 250lbs and lift up to 75lbs.
• Previous hotel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs listed on work orders and maintain a record of completed work.
• Track and record repairs and perform preventative maintenance.
• Offer guest assistance as needed.

Skills

Good working knowledge of plumbing

Education

High school graduate or equivalent vocational training
