Job summary

La Posada de Santa Fe, a Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, seeks an Engineer to maintain the resort’s facilities, perform painting and preventive maintenance, and ensure guest environments meet high standards.

You will work with the Engineering team to handle routine and major repairs, respond to service requests, and follow safety policies while delivering quality work and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 years of general hotel, apartment, or building maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical systems, air conditioning, boilers, and general mechanical systems.
• Pool and spa maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, touch-ups, drywall repairs, and related surface preparation throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces as a primary responsibility of the position.
• Perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Respond promptly to engineering and maintenance service requests and complete assigned work orders.
• Complete routine and minor repairs involving painting, plumbing, electrical systems, air conditioning, boilers, mechanical systems, and other building systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting facility issues and assist with specialized repairs when needed.
