Job summary

Residence Inn by Marriott Santa Fe is seeking an Engineer III to maintain hotel facilities, perform preventative and repair maintenance, and ensure guest comfort and safety in accordance with quality standards.

The role focuses on inspecting rooms, repairing electrical fixtures, plumbing, HVAC pumps, wall coverings, and equipment, while keeping accurate maintenance records and complying with safety and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hotel maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• 1-2 years of industrial mechanical experience preferred.
• High School diploma or trade school coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen and industrial laundry equipment.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures.
• Repair furniture and install, replace and program televisions.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps and maintain PM records.
• Trace and repair all types of water lines.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
