Job summary

The Stella Hotel, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to uphold the hotel’s interiors and systems. You will conduct routine repairs in guest rooms and public areas, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and functionality of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Experience with power and hand tools, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to maintenance requests are essential.

Qualifications

• Maintains public spaces, meeting rooms, ballrooms, outlets and back-of-house spaces.
• Performs repairs to rooms to keep them in optimal condition.
• Understands the room preventative maintenance program.
• Prepares a maintenance cart for daily use.
• Repairs televisions, phones, clocks, radios, etc.
• Replaces or repairs bathroom fixtures and handles general plumbing.
• Maintains room appearance with mirrors, fixtures, and touch-ups.
• Troubleshoots heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Uses power and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Performs preventative maintenance across hotel areas including lobbies and restaurants.
• Repairs furniture, carpet, marble, tile and kitchen/laundry equipment.
• Maintains exterior of building and grounds; may operate pool equipment.
• Reports hazards and assists in safety and security procedures.
• Participates in hotel fire emergency readiness (HAT) and uses master keys per policy.
