Job summary

First Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to proactively upkeep hotel facilities, systems, and equipment while addressing guest needs promptly. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and safety checks across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance, a high school diploma, and preferred electrical/plumbing certifications. Strong communication and adherence to safety are essential, with opportunities for growth within

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in hotel or similar facility.
• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Electrical and/or plumbing certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain building systems, equipment, and structure.
• Complete grounds and custodial work as needed.
• Use power tools safely following guidelines.
• Perform building, equipment, or room repairs (plumbing, painting, carpentry, sheetrock, electrical).
• Prioritize repairs that impact guest experience.
• Communicate with hotel departments to ensure timely responses.
• Listen to guests and address concerns, notifying other departments when needed.
• Maintain professionalism aligned with hotel brand.
• Know hotel emergency procedures and assist during emergencies.
• Balance and log house bank transactions if applicable.
