Hotel Drover in Fort Worth seeks an Engineer II to maintain and protect its luxury property, ensuring safety, reliability, and legendary service. You will support daily operations, perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, and deliver warm, polished service aligned with Marriott standards.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, energy management, inventory control, and clear communication with guests and team members.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel or luxury environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, tools, HVAC systems, and building components, including cleaning and minor adjustments.
  • Visually inspect, identify, and troubleshoot issues with tools, equipment, or machinery.
  • Carry and operate tools, radios, and equipment essential to the role.
  • Identify, locate, and operate all building shut-off valves, emergency disconnects, and utility shut-offs.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of parts, tools, and supplies; requisition materials as needed.
  • Log and communicate all daily activities, maintenance concerns, and shift notes using department-approved communication programs.
  • Replace light bulbs, HVAC filters, ceiling tiles, and other consumables.
  • Use engineering computer systems for preventive maintenance tasks, energy management, and work orders.
  • Maintain polished and refined communication when speaking with guests, leaders, and team members.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries immediately.

This position supports the daily operation, preventative maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems while delivering warm, polished service aligned with Marriott and Autograph Collection standards.
