Job summary

Hotel Drover in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Engineer II to ensure safety, functionality, and comfort for guests. You will support daily operations, preventative maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while delivering warm hospitality in line with Marriott and Autograph Collection standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance or engineering experience, preferably in a hotel or luxury environment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Flexible schedule – must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, HVAC systems, and building components, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect, identify, and troubleshoot issues with tools, equipment, or machinery.
• Carry and operate tools, radios, and equipment essential to the role.
• Identify, locate, and operate all building shut-off valves, emergency disconnects, and utility shut-offs.
• Maintain accurate inventories of parts, tools, and supplies; requisition materials as needed.
• Log and communicate all daily activities and shift notes using department-approved systems.
• Replace light bulbs, A/C filters, ceiling tiles, and other consumables.
• Use engineering computer systems for preventive maintenance tasks, energy management, and work orders.
• Maintain polished communication when speaking with guests, leaders, and team members.
• Report safety hazards, accidents, or injuries immediately.
• All other duties as assigned.
