Job summary

Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Convention Center is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer II to support a busy hotel operation in Orlando, FL. The role requires open availability, including nights and weekends, and entails hands-on maintenance across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and general building systems.

Responsibilities include responding to guest issue reports, performing PM tasks, maintaining grounds, and ensuring guest rooms meet brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years minimum work experience in maintenance or trades.
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect operating systems and components to ensure proper, safe operation.
• Respond to guest reports and inform front desk when action is complete.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical/electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain hotel grounds, landscaping, and parking areas.
