Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Orlando Airport is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support a busy hotel. Compensation is based on experience. Must have open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include health, vision, dental, PTO, 401k, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities include inspecting hotel systems, responding to guest issues, performing PMs, and maintaining grounds. Full-time hours (at least 32 hours/week) with flexible scheduling. E-Verify employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years maintenance/trades experience.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Inspects operating systems and components to ensure proper, efficient, safe operation as directed by Chief Engineer.
• Responds to front desk reports of guest problems; informs front desk when action is completed for courtesy calls.
• Performs preventative maintenance, repairs, or recommendations for repairs across mechanical/electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and building components.
