Job summary

Life in Pittsburgh is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to uphold the safety and comfort of hotel guests and staff. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect systems, and fix a variety of building equipment across the property.

The role requires experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry, and the ability to read manuals and communicate findings clearly. A commitment to efficient, energy-conscious operations and strong guest service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in building trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry.
• Vocational schooling or military training preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and communicate progress effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and routine repairs across hotel facilities.
• Inspect and service electrical systems, HVAC controls, plumbing, and fixtures.
• Perform minor repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
• Maintain pool, lobby and outdoor areas for safety and curb appeal.
• Respond to guest questions and requests professionally to ensure satisfaction.
