Job summary

Extended Stay Premier Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. You will maintain common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, fitness centers, and pools, and perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms while repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.

Ideal candidates are proactive, dependable, and capable of troubleshooting building systems such as plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management and Microsoft Office tools.
• Availability for on-call hours, including weekends.
• Reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Address maintenance requests from guests promptly and with excellent service.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry.
• Perform regular upkeep of guest rooms, public areas and mechanical systems.
• Organize and maintain tools, equipment and workspaces for efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks for amenities like pools, fitness areas, and meeting spaces.
