Job summary

The Logan Hotel in Philadelphia is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to keep hotel systems running smoothly and safely. You will respond to guest requests, perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler and other equipment, and coordinate with teams to keep the property in top condition.

This Regular Full-Time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 6 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing system maintenance and repair.
• Carpentry, repair work, construction or renovation tasks.
• Ability to drive a company truck and snow removal equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on hotel equipment and systems.
• Monitor and maintain engineering functions when full staff is unavailable and respond to emergencies.
• Make rounds of the property to ensure everything is in working order.
• Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas.
• Complete maintenance requests, take readings, and maintain logs.
• Handle elevator breakdowns.
• Report unsafe conditions to leadership.
