Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites Philadelphia Broomall/Newtown Square seeks a skilled facilities professional to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and regular inspections across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.

You will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, carpentry, and painting tasks while maintaining safety standards and collaborating with hotel leadership, housekeeping, front desk, and vendors. Weekend/on-call flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, commercial building, apartment, facilities, or general property maintenance is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, drywall, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and stay calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and high standards of workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration with colleagues and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and timely repairs across guest rooms, public spaces, offices, and back-of-house areas.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly to service requests to turn guest concerns into moments of care.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs before they affect guests or operations.
• Support upkeep of life-safety systems, pools or fitness areas, and exterior grounds as applicable.
