Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts seeks a hotel maintenance professional to support the Westin Riverwalk complex in San Antonio. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, building systems oversight, and safety compliance while delivering high guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry, with strong communication and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling or certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry.
• Experience in building trades and hotel maintenance preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders to maintain hotel quality.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related systems.
• Inspect and repair hotel equipment (boilers, pool equipment, laundry, kitchen gear).
• Service pool and exterior areas; ensure safety and curb appeal.
• Move and refurbish furniture; assist with basic carpentry tasks.
• Respond to guest questions and work requests promptly and courteously.
