Job summary

Westin Minneapolis is seeking an on-site Maintenance Engineer to uphold building systems and safety. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other hotel equipment, and address work orders to sustain guest comfort and safety.

The role requires vocational training in relevant trades and gives preference to candidates with hotel maintenance experience. Physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs and communicate effectively is important.

Qualifications

• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry experience required.
• Hotel maintenance experience is preferred.
• Vocational schooling or technical training in relevant trades is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete routine repairs across hotel equipment.
• Inspect and service electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems.
• Service pool, outdoor areas and building exterior as needed.
• Respond promptly to work orders and guest requests to maintain safety and comfort.
• Maintain building exterior and ensure energy efficiency while conserving resources.
