Job summary

Hyatt Place Buffalo Amherst is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join SHG, the Hyatt Place Buffalo Amherst's management company. The role involves overseeing the property’s grounds, public areas, and guest rooms, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Two years in hotel maintenance preferred.
One year of college or trade school in mechanical, electrical and/or technical disciplines preferred.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
