Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Hotel Engineer to join our operations team in Sikeston, MO. This hands-on role maintains the hotel’s physical property, equipment, and guest rooms to ensure safety, comfort, and exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting, has a hands-on approach, and takes pride in high safety and appearance standards across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Flexibility for weekends and emergency calls is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs efficiently.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance according to schedules and standards.
• Inspect and repair hotel equipment, rooms, and public areas.
• Handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests with professional service.
• Maintain logs, work orders, and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized work.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and hotel standards.
• Operate and maintain maintenance tools and supplies.
• Support after-hours maintenance needs and emergency calls.
• Assist with exterior maintenance as needed.
