Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV seeks a General Engineer to respond to and repair guest-room maintenance work orders, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors and fixtures. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and help keep rooms safe and fully operational for an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate is 21+, with hands-on maintenance experience in hotels or large facilities, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• Hands-on facilities maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel, resort, commercial property, or industrial facility
• Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems and fixtures

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest-room maintenance work orders by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors and fixtures)
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep guest-room equipment and fixtures safe and operational
• Walk daily routes and complete necessary repairs
