Peachtree Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide technical and maintenance services across the hotel, ensuring all equipment and systems remain in excellent condition. The role emphasizes safety, guest service, and timely problem resolution.

The candidate should perform routine maintenance, manage work orders, and support housekeeping and operations with efficient, reliable building systems. On-site work and shift flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine preventive maintenance on building systems
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Strong attention to safety and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and guest service orientation

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently
• Assist with preventive maintenance and complete work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles and light bulbs
• Inspect electrical systems and perform minor repairs and/or replacements
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools and reassemble equipment
• Diagnose and fix mechanical problems using manuals and blueprints
• Install wiring, plumbing, and machinery components as needed
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and storage rooms
• Respond to guest questions, complaints, or requests to ensure guest satisfaction
• Operate heavy machinery and assist on major repairs as required
• Coordinate with other departments regarding guest room conditions
• Attend training/meetings as required by management
