Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Dublin in Dublin, OH, seeks an Engineer to support guest comfort through repairs and proactive maintenance. You will help keep guest rooms and public areas clean, safe, and well-maintained, following the hotel PM program and safety guidelines.

Role requires strong guest service, teamwork, and a can-do attitude. You will report to your supervisor and collaborate with colleagues to deliver reliable hospitality operations and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Listening and conflict resolution skills are important.
• Clear and effective communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all requests from guests for general repairs when requested, confirm and document completion through the electronic work order platform.
• Follow the Preventative Maintenance Program and keep all room and public spaces up to date.
• Ensure safety measures are followed and escalate emergencies to supervisor and General Manager.
• Conduct full property walks at the beginning and end of shifts and document needs.
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance areas during shift and before departure.
