Job summary

MCR is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance professional for Pasadena properties to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. You will respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure proper documentation and safety practices.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in a commercial facility or hospitality setting, strong communication skills, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns.
• Must convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must have a desire to serve all guests.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Arrive and clock in on time for every shift; do not work off the clock.
• Clock in/out for breaks at the designated times.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and document completion through the electronic work order platform.
• Keep room and public spaces on schedule per PM program and maintenance standards.
• Follow safety and health codes; report emergencies to supervisor/GM.
• Conduct full property walks at the start and end of shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
