Job summary

Windsor Hospitality seeks an Engineer Groundskeeper for the Embassy Suites by Hilton in San Luis Obispo, CA. You will perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and preventive tasks to keep the property safe and inviting for guests.

Responsibilities include painting, plumbing, electrical work, and coordinating with management on repairs. Ability to work outdoors in various weather and adhere to uniform standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains hotel by performing minor routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools.
• Replaces air conditioner filters.
• Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• May tend furnace, air conditioner, and boiler to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.
• Execution of assigned tasks, projects, or programs, as instructed by the department’s management and ensure completion competently within a given time.
• To ensure any work requests that may come from the hotel guests or senior management are responded to withing a given time. All such requests are to be recorded along with what action is taken.
• Required to be always in uniform when working on the property, including wearing a name identification badge.
• Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.
• All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
