Visitation Hotel Frederick, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance to uphold quality and sustainability standards while ensuring guest comfort and safety.

The role includes room inspections, electrical and plumbing tasks, furniture repairs, and basic kitchen equipment service; you will help maintain records and follow safety guidelines to support high guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and trade school coursework preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance to meet quality and sustainability standards.
• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair basic electrical fixtures, switches and lighting.
• Repair furniture and plumbing; service kitchen equipment as needed.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Work to local, state and Federal codes and safety guidelines.
• Assist with guest services during peak times and maintain guest satisfaction.
