Job summary

Watt-Hotel is seeking an energetic bartender to work in our hotel restaurant–lounge. You will mix and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, greet guests, and assist with food service at the bar and dining room.

Responsibilities include taking orders, entering them into the POS, handling payments, and maintaining bar stock. A 21+ year old with 1 year in a high-volume venue is preferred, with bartending training advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bartender school training pref.
• At least 1 year of bartender/front-of-house server experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant; hotel experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve alcohol and non-alcohol drinks following standard recipes.
• Serve alcohol beverages responsibly and verify IDs.
• Take food orders at the bar and dining room; run and serve food orders.
• Greet and serve all guests entering the restaurant–lounge.
• Enter drink and food orders into the POS system; collect payment and make correct change.
• Complete sales and inventory reports accurately.
• Maintain bar stock by ordering liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies.
• Clean and store bar equipment and area daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
