Watt-Hotel is seeking an energetic bartender to work in our hotel restaurant–lounge. You will mix and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, greet guests, and assist with food service at the bar and dining room.

Responsibilities include taking orders, entering them into the POS, handling payments, and maintaining bar stock. A 21+ year old with 1 year in a high-volume venue is preferred, with bartending training advantageous.

Competenze

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bartender school training pref.
• At least 1 year of bartender/front-of-house server experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant; hotel experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

ABOUT THE ROLEBartenders prepare and serve beverages & serve food to guests our hotel guests & local customers in our high energy restaurant -Lounge. Extensive knowledge of common drinks, cocktails, beers, and wines, you will be in charge of managing drink orders at our hotel restaurant-lounge. Working as a bartender-server to guests at the bar and in the dining room.Essential Duties:Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.Ability to bend, reach, and repeat motions.Ability to lift stock up to 50 lbs. occasionally.Specific Requirements of this role:Mix and serve alcohol and non-alcohol drinks for guests following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions.Serve alcohol beverages responsibility, request identification, and adhere to all company alcohol service policies and procedures.Take food orders at the bar & dining room, run food orders, serve food orders.Greet and serve all guests entering the restaurant - lounge.Enter drink & food orders into the POS system, collect payment from guests for drinks served, and make correct change.Complete sales and inventory reports accurately.Maintain bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies.Clean and store bar equipment, bar stock, clean bar, floors, garbage removal, etc.Perform other duties as assigned by management.QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age.Bartender school training pref.At least 1 year of bartender /front-of-house server experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant required; hotel experience preferred.Basic math and computer skills.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
