Job summary

Hotel Bennett in Charleston, SC seeks a Loss Prevention & Garage Operations Supervisor to train and supervise Security Officers and Garage Technicians, patrol the property, identify irregularities, and respond to emergencies.

This role administers ongoing training and development to Garage Services and Security Teams to ensure operating procedures and standards are followed, with responsibilities across garage operations and security testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hotel experience is desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years in valet/parking garage and/or security role.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with scheduling and payroll for Security Officers and Garage Technicians.
• Knowledge of emergency response to various situations.
• Answer phone calls or greet guests/employees professionally.
• Assigns duties to staff and observes performance to ensure policy adherence.
• Coaches and counsels staff.
• Reply via phone and email to all lost and found inquiries.
• Organizes monthly departmental meetings.
• Assists other departments when business levels demand it.
• Oversee the orchestration of the garage daily.
• Work across all shifts and maintain organization.
• Recruitment and training of department staff.
• Tests to ensure garage and building security systems and alarms function properly.
