Job summary

Salamander Hotels & Resorts in Charleston, SC is seeking an Overnight Loss Prevention Agent to patrol and monitor hotel property, identify irregularities, respond to emergencies, and support guest and staff safety on the 11pm–7am shift.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, clear communication with guests and team members, and assisting with bell duties and vehicle retrieval from the hotel garage as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year security, loss prevention or hotel experience preferred.
• Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED use.
• Able to pass criminal background check and possess an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel property and monitor for irregularities or threats.
• Prepare and file incident reports with clear details.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with security and hotel staff.
• Greet guests and staff professionally and communicate effectively.
• Assist with bell duties and vehicle retrieval from the hotel garage as needed.
• Work the 11pm–7am third shift, with potential to cover other shifts.
