Job summary

The Kimpton Brice Hotel, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, is hiring a kitchen team member in Savannah, GA to prepare food of consistent quality and assist in daily kitchen functions.

Experience in hotels is preferred; candidates should have dexterity, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Regular attendance is expected and other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Finger/hand dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to grasp, lift or carry up to 100 lbs on a continuous schedule.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and standards.
• Start items prepared in advance and manage portions per server checks.
• Rotate and store perishables, maintain proper temperatures.
• Check pars, determine preparation needs and assist with buffet.
• Keep equipment clean and operate kitchen appliances safely.
• Attend regularly and perform other duties as assigned.
