Raines Co. - Your Future is Now! is seeking a Cook to set up, cook, and maintain quality in line with health guidelines. You will stock, prepare, label and portion food, and use a range of kitchen tools and equipment to deliver high-quality dishes.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in hotels, restaurants or related fields.
• Certifications as required by Federal, State, or Local agencies.
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, stocks and organizes workstation and levels for production of food items.
• Prepares food items according to menu standards, portions and stores them in properly labeled containers.
• Uses kitchen tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Checks stock levels in coolers for sufficient stock, reporting shortages and ordering as needed using FIFO.
• Prepares broiled, baked, grilled, steamed, sautéed, and fried items using recipes.
• Plates food according to standard plating menu with garnishments and portions.
• Performs side duties, including cleaning, inventory, and organizing.
• Maintains composure in stressful high-pressure situations.
